Queen's student Stephen Little takes the Jilin University delegation on a tour of campus.Representatives from Jilin University, a leading national university in China, visited Queen’s this week. They explored the possibility of Jilin students pursuing doctoral studies at Queen’s either as degree students or visiting students with support from the China Scholarship Council. They also discussed the potential for research collaborations that could include visits by Queen’s researchers to Jilin University.
Jilin University, located in Changchun, the capital city of Jilin Province in Northeastern China, has eight campuses in six districts. Enrolment in 2009 was over 62,000 full-time students, 20,000 of which were graduate students.
Queen’s undergraduate student Stephen Little led the delegation on a tour of campus in between meetings with various Queen’s administration officials.
