Asia Pacific ambassadors meet at Queen’s to discuss Canadian and international issues
Principal Daniel Woolf chats with Her Excellency Dienne Moehario, Ambassador, Republic of Indonesia, and (back to camera) Phillipines Charge d’Affaires Minerva Falcon at an informal luncheon preceding the eighth Ambassadors’ Forum held at Queen’s last week.
Organized by professor emeritus (School of Urban and Regional Planning) Hok-Lin Leung, the annual forum brings together ambassadors and high commissioners to Canada from 20 countries of the Asia-Pacific, promoting international dialogue, cooperation and action. This year’s guest speaker was Senator Hugh Segal, a fellow of the School of Policy Studies. His topic was "Canada and Asia: Building an Economically Strong and Mutually Respectful Neighbourhood."
