Debaters "extraordinary and energetic"

Re: “Be it resolved that ....” -- Issue #2-2012

Having had the privilege of observing the Queen’s Debating Union (QDU) participate in two tournaments against competing teams from Canada and the U.S. in the past couple of years, I applaud the Review for focusing on this extraordinary group within the Queen’s community.

The intellectual and physical energy required for these debating events is significant – and I sincerely applaud every member of the QDU for their ongoing successes in national and international competitions.

The QDU provides us with a positive and exceptional example of what is good about Queen’s University.
