VisaIf required, apply for a visa permitting you to study in the UK.
Canadian and US citizens studying at the castle for less than 180 days do not require a visa. If you are a citizen of another country, check the visa requirements that apply to you.
Visas can be acquired from the office of the British High Commission, Embassy or Consulate in your home country.
If you will be travelling on a passport issued by a country other than Canada, the United States or an EU member nation you should check to see if you require a Schengen visa to participate in field studies to some countries in Continental Europe. Please contact the appropriate office of the country under whose passport you are travelling for further information.
Although staff at Queen's University and the Castle are pleased to help with information about travel documents, it is your reponsibility to obtain necessary documents.
