Queen's University

ASUS Orientation

An important question must be asked:  How do you feel?  Don’t know the answer? Well by the time ASUS Orientation Week rolls around, you sure will!

The Arts and Science Undergraduate Society (ASUS) Orientation is the largest faculty Orientation here at Queen’s University, with more than 2500 incoming students participating each year.  If you are in Arts and Science (Arts, Science, Fine Arts or Music) then this Orientation Week is for you!

During the week, it is our goal to orient you with

  • Queen’s campus and community,
  • the Faculty of Arts and Science,
  • the Kingston community, and
  • the people and resources that will make Queen’s feel like home.

At ASUS Orientation, all incoming first year students wear yellow Frosh t-shirts and will be placed in a frosh group with upper year student leaders called "Gaels" (wearing blue t-shirts). Throughout the week, you will participate in some of our highlight events, such as our famous Frosh Olympics, memorable tamming ceremony and a fantastic semi-formal dance to end the week!

Come visit the ASUS Orientation website, where you can learn more about our week, its events, how to register and get linked to various resources around campus!

If you have any questions, feel free to contact Head Gael, Adam Sage at

See you in the fall!
