Are you looking for research funding, but don't know where to start or what strategies to use to maximize success? Trying to transfer grant funds to your collaborator at a different institution? Interested in finding and developing partnerships with various stakeholders? Shifting research priorities? Developing a program for international collaboration?

If you have answered "yes" to any of the above questions, please browse our website for the information you need, call us to discuss your needs, and/or schedule an appointment - we would be more than pleased to meet with you.

Notes:

  • The Office of Research Services must receive a (i) hard copy of your application (with Department Head and/or Dean signatures if required by the funding agency)  and (ii) the completion of a Data Summary and Signature entry five(5) business days prior to the funding agency deadline.

  • For researchers who are conducting research within the Hospitals (KGH, HDH, PC) or utilizing Hospital resources (e.g., space, staff, equipment) above and beyond the standard of care, approval must be obtained from the most appropriate Hospital Operational Director(s) identified within the Data Summary and Signature Sheet application prior to obtaining Department Head approval.  We strongly encourage researchers who are conducting research within the Hospitals or utilizing Hospital resources to speak with the most appropriate Hospital Operational Director(s) 2-4 weeks prior to submitting to a funding agency to ensure approvals are obtained within your Data Summary and Signature Sheet application.

  • Proposals for research funding are signed by the Associate Director, Research Services, on behalf of the University.

The primary functions of the Research Grants & Development Unit are:
