   NSERC will offer more webinars on September 9 and 23 on how to enter an application on the Portal: See and scroll down to the English session about the Portal.

   URS will hold another info session for DG applicants on September 4, 1:30-3:30 p.m. in  Dunning 27.
  Presenters: Mark Green (Evaluation Group Co-Chair for Civil, Industrial and Systems Engineering) and Carlos Saavedra (Evaluation Group Co-Chair for    Electrical  and Computer Engineering). They'll give presentations of 30-40 minutes each, followed by 40 minutes of questions and answers. This session is intended for applicants from all research areas, not just engineering. There are differences between Evaluation Groups, but the same guidelines apply.

PIs have to submit a NOI and their CCVs (including a CCV for any co-PIs) on the NSERC portal.

September 4, 1:30-3:30 p.m. in Dunning 27

Discovery Grant info session for Queen’s applicants.

October 3, 2014

Internal deadline for PIs who wish to receive  limited feedback on the content of their DG proposal by URS staff (as time permits).

October 20, 2014

Mandatory internal deadline for an administrative check of the DG proposals. The proposals should be submitted by the PI on the NSERC portal where URS staff can check it.

Friday October 24, 2014

A TRAQ DSS for the DG proposal should be submitted by the PI before this date

Friday October 31, 2014

URS staff will submit all DG proposals to NSERC.

Monday, November 3, 2014

DG proposals officially due at NSERC.
