Steps for Proposal Submission to ORS
Before an application can be submitted to a funding agency, it is to be reviewed and approved by the Office of Research Services (ORS). The ORS Associate Director approves the submission of proposals to funding agencies on behalf of the University. The Director of ORS approves contracts/agreements on behalf of the University.
Five(5) business days prior to the funding agency deadline, the office of Research Services will require the following:
- an electronic or hard copy of the application
- completed Data Summary and Signature (DSS) entry
- Department Head e-approval of the DSS
Due to competing funding agency deadlines and the volume of applications received by ORS, we can ensure applicants receive top-quality service when we receive applications well in advance of the agency deadline.
