Office of Partnerships and Innovation

Canada Accelerator and Incubator Program (CAIP)

The Queen’s Office of Partnerships and Innovation partners with Invest OttawaL-Spark Corp, Launch Lab, and SOAN in the Eastern Ontario innovation consortium co-funded by the Canada Accelerator and Incubator Program. Our five-year mandate includes the facilitation of research, startup formation, intellectual property strategies, and customer development required to grow regional small and medium-sized corporations. The Office directly supports the CAIP partners’ regional incubator (InnovationXL) and accelerator (GrindspaceXL), hosted at Innovation Park, provides match-making services, and embedded management services to clients, and collaborates with CAIP partners to deliver mentoring and coaching services (Launch Lab) and market intelligence services (Invest Ottawa), and to facilitate angel investment attraction (SOAN), and Tier-1 acceleration and investment attraction (L-Spark).
