Marilyn has been in the Philosophy Department since January 2004. Prior to that, she worked in the Faculty of Arts and Science for the Associate Dean (Studies), the Biochemistry Department and the Cancer Research Laboratories. Marilyn was recruited to Queen's University after graduating top of her class and with Honours from St. Lawrence College in 1987. In Philosophy, Marilyn assists the Head of Department with administrative tasks such as budgeting and accounting as well as the weekly Colloquium and the departmental timetable. Marilyn enjoys spending time with her husband and family.
Undergraduate & Graduate Assistant
Judy Vanhooser arrived at the Department of Philosophy in April of 2003. Judy has worked for Queen's University for seventeen years, first in the Physical Education Centre where she spent eight years and then moving to the Department of History where she spent another eight years. Before joining Queen's, Judy received her business diploma from Metzler Business College. In her current position, Judy works closely with the Undergraduate Chair and the Graduate chair and most importantly with the students. When away from the department, she enjoys spending her time with her family.
