Deadline for submissions: March 16, 2009.
Submissions are invited from graduate students on the theme of Pluralism and Diversity which may be broadly interpreted to include questions in social and political, ethical and meta-ethical thought.
Submissions should include two documents: (1) a paper no longer than 4000 words, which includes an abstract of 250 words maximum and contains no self-identifying information; (2) a cover sheet that includes the (i) the title of the paper, (ii) the author’s name, institutional affiliation, and contact information (email, phone number, address) and (iii) the word count.
Electronic submissions should be sent to queensphilgradconf@gmail.com and will be accepted in .doc, .rtf or .pdf formats. Presentations, including Q & A will be allotted one hour. Only one submission per candidate will be considered. Selection criteria include philosophical insight, clarity of expression and thematic relevance.
