Margaret Moore is Professor in the Political Studies department, cross-appointed (as a courtesy) in Philosophy. She teaches in the Master’s in Political and Legal Theory programme.  She is the author of three books, all with Oxford University Press: A Political Theory of Territory, Ethics of Nationalism and Foundations of Liberalism. A Political Theory of Territory was the winner of the Canadian Philosophical Association’s Best Book Prize, 2017, and was shortlisted for the ISA Best Book in International Ethics award and the Canadian Political Science Association 2016 CB Macpherson book prize.  She has published in journals such as Journal of Political Philosophy (forthcoming), Political Theory, Philosophical Studies, Political Studies, and Ethics and International Affairs.  In autumn 2018 she will take up the Olof Palme Visiting Professorship at the University of Stockholm.
