The Master of Public Health program at Queen's includes two practicum elements.
First, students participate in the Public Health Professional Development course (EPID 886), which includes 36 hours of relevant workshops spread out in both fall and winter terms of year one. (Note: This is a required course for 16-month MPH Program candidates only.)
Second, students complete a 400-hour practicum placement (EPID 887) in a supervised setting. This placement is usually completed in the spring and summer terms of year one from April - August.
