The Master of Public Health program at Queen's offers students two practicum elements. The first is Practicum I - Public Health Skills. This course consists of 36 hours of public health skills workshops, spread out in both fall and winter terms of year 1. The second is Practicum II - Practicum Placement. This is a 400-hour (four month) practicum placement with a public health organization. This placement is usually completed in the spring and summer terms of year 1, from April - August.
