Departmental Colloquium-  Of cookbooks and fairytales: can neutrinos make the Universe we see?

Abstract:

Everything we see in our Universe appears to be made of matter (not anti-matter), and this excess cannot be explained in the "standard models" of particle physics and cosmology. Among the many recipes to produce this excess, I select one, based on the seesaw neutrino mass model, and tell the story of the Universe in this scenario.
(And if there is time, we can discuss the testability of this recipe.)
