Recommendation: 4U Physics is required.
Co-requisite: MATH 120 or MATH 121 or MATH 122 or MATH 123 and MATH 124
Exclusions: PHYS 104, PHYS 106, PHYS 117, PHYS 118

Schedule/Format: 3 lecture hours per week, a 3 hour laboratory every second week, alternating with a tutorial session. A full (2-term) course.

Description:

Mechanics, including systems of particles and rigid body motion, fluids, electricity and magnetism, oscillatory motion and waves, heat, light and sound; topics in modern physics. Aspects of physics useful for further work in other sciences will be emphasized.
