Professor emeritus  and Nobel Laureate Arthur McDonald, Queen's University Department of Physics, Engineering Physics and Astronomy, made a trip to Ottawa on November 25, 2015 to be greeted by Governor General David Johnston in recognition for receiving the 2015 Nobel Prize in Physics. 

Dr. McDonald was awarded the Nobel Prize on Oct. 6, along with Takaaki Kajita of the University of Tokyo, “for their key contributions to the experiments which demonstrated that neutrinos change identities.”

Along with Dr. McDonald, Queen's Principal Daniel Woolf, University Relations VP Michael Fraser and Research VP Steve Liss were also greeted by the Governor General David Johnston.
