Brief Biography
Melissa completed her BA (Honours) in Political Science and History at Brock University in 2006. She spent one year abroad, during her undergrad, at Keele University in England. Melissa also completed her MA in International Relations at Brock in 2007. She is currently writing a doctoral thesis on the Mexican-American diaspora in the United States and how it influences American foreign policy. Melissa expects that the findings of her project will be useful for policy-makers in both the US and Mexico.
