Brief Biography

Chris Samuel is a Ph.D. candidate in Queen's University's Department of Political Studies.  His current research extends Bourdieu's social theory to the study of social movements with particular attention to Queer/LGBT and alterglobalization politics.  His particular interest is in the normative application of social movement research.
