Principal to host more staff meetings
May 4, 2010
Dear Queen's Staff,
As you know, a West Campus General Staff Meeting with me was scheduled for May 10th to discuss the "Where Next?" document. Unfortunately, I have been asked to attend an urgent meeting with senior officials of the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities in Toronto on that date. This is a meeting I cannot miss.
An alternative date for the staff meeting has been found: Wednesday, May 12th. The time and location remain the same (12:00-1:00, McArthur Hall, Room A237). Information on the meeting is found below.
I apologize for the unforeseen change of date but hope to see many of you on May 12th.
Sincerely,
Daniel Woolf
Principal and Vice-Chancellor

As a follow up to a March 18th meeting with general staff, Principal Daniel Woolf is holding two more sessions to talk about "
Where Next?", his vision document that launched the university's academic planning process in January.
The meetings will be held Monday, April 19th, 12:00-1:00, in Wallace Hall, and Monday, May 10th, 12:00-1:00, in Room A237, McArthur Hall, West Campus [This room is accessible only from the front entrance].
To facilitate these discussions, staff members are asked to send comments or questions (anonymously or with your name)
by April 14th to:
http://www.queensu.ca/forms/principal/.
Comments will be collated into four or five main themes that the Principal will address at both meetings. There will also be time for questions and comments from the floor.
Anyone with particular accessibility-related requirements is encouraged to email the
Office of the Principal with any requests for special arrangements.
