Faculty Relations Office

The Faculty Relations Office is responsible for labour relations with the Queen's University Faculty Association (QUFA) and with the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) Local 901, which represents the graduate Teaching Assistants and Teaching Fellows.

The Office negotiates and administers the collective agreements on behalf of the University, and it serves as the University's primary point of communication with QUFA and PSAC 901.

It also provides advice and guidance in such matters as personnel processes (e.g. appointments and renewal/tenure/promotion), academic and personal leaves, discipline, and grievances for QUFA, and new provisions for PSAC 901.

The Office also takes an active role in education and training concerning the provisions of the collective agreements.
