An Information and Orientation Session for all Academic Programs scheduled for a Cyclical Program Review (CPR) during the 2014-2015 academic year was organized by the Office of the Provost and Vice-Principal (Academic). Sessions were held on Friday, November 15 and Wednesday, November 20, and consisted of a brief introduction by our panelists followed by an open question and answer opportunity.
On February 21 & 28, Learning Outcome Workshops were held in Ellis Hall Room 319. Rylan Egan, Education Developer, Centre for Teaching and Learning, facilitated the sessions. Materials related to the Learning Outcome Workshops can be found here.
We heard that a number of units have begun working on the CPR using the timelines originally published in the 2011 QUQAP policy. In order to allow ample time to complete the self-study portion of the review, the Office of the Provost will accept (for the 2014-15 CPR cycle only) completed self-studies by September 2014, with the aim of scheduling the site visit by the Review Team during the 2014-15 academic year.
To assist with the completion of the CPR, we have provided a QUQAP contact list of resource people who are available to help you through the process. There is also an updated CPR self-study template. If you have already started to fill out the self-study using an earlier version of the template there is no obligation to use this latest version.
We also heard that units would like to see a Q & A pagefor the QUQAP website; we will advise you when it is posted.
And finally, we introduced a dedicated email address where all submissions, questions and concerns can be directed: firstname.lastname@example.org
