Penalty for Missed Appointments & Grievance Procedure
What is the penalty for a missed appointment?
The penalty is equal to the credit value for the study that is missed. You will never lose credits already accrued, regardless of the penalty. For example, you could have 3 credits in penalties, but if you have already earned 4 prior credits, you will still receive your 4 marks. You will only have to make up the time for a missed study before additional credits can be earned.
Grievance procedures

The student should first contact the experimenter with an explanation as to why he or she failed to cancel. If further appointments are available and if the student offers/agrees to reschedule their appointment at the meeting, the penalty will be waived. If the experimenter is persuaded of the validity of their explanation, the experimenter will cancel the penalty. Otherwise, the penalty will remain in place.
