I am currently finishing my final year of a Bachelor of Arts (Honour's) in Psychology here at Queen's. Under the supervision of Dr. Johnsrude, I am completing my honour's thesis entitled "The Effects of Contextual Priming on the Intelligibility of Semantically Ambiguous Degraded Speech." In it, I am examining how local context can influence individuals' interpretation of ambiguous words to promote speech intelligibility. I hope to extend this research in neuroimaging studies as well, which will examine the brain regions involved in these processes.

I am presently applying to graduate schools in the field of cognitive neuroscience, where I hope to pursue research in memory processes and the cognitive markers of abnormal aging (e.g. Alzheimer's disease)
