I am finishing my second undergraduate degree in the Life Sciences program at Queen's. I am currently working on an undergraduate thesis with Dr. Johnsrude in which we are investigating whether expertise within a field affects our ability to understand speech related to this field. If a positive result is obtained, I hope to learn about how neural imaging studies could be carried out to investigate the biological pathways that may mediate this effect.
