Queen's University

Leah DeGorter I am a fourth year Psychology student working under the supervision of Dr. Ingrid Johnsrude for my honours thesis. Last year, I volunteered in the CoNCH lab working on an fMRI study on speech perception. This year, I am investigating how attention and age affects auditory source segregation in noisy environments. As people age, their ability to hear in noisy environments degrades. We are investigating the role of attention in this process.
