The Association of Graduate Students in Psychology has great plans for student activities in 2011-2012! We kicked things off with a potluck event for this year’s new student orientation in September. Like last year’s smorgasbord, this year’s event had an amazing array of heartfelt and homemade dishes. We’ve also stepped up our game for the new student mixer: this year we will be meeting and greeting in the luxurious comfort of a lakeside condo party room, instead of the grad club – we all love the grad club, but it was time for a change!
Next up on the schedule will be the fall house crawl, an event that has been a big hit in the past, maybe even too big a hit! We are also looking forward to organizing the annual Halloween party, so start thinking of a costume idea. There are plenty more amazing events further down the road, including the holiday curling party and Valentine’s day bake sale, so keep an eye out for email updates and we’ll see you soon!
