The Ontario Association on Developmental Disabilities' Research Special Interest Group (RSIG)
is holding its annual research conference on Friday, April 11th, 2014 at the Ambassador Conference Resort in Kingston, ON. This conference will feature research on developmental/intellectual disabilities (DD/ID) across the lifespan. The keynote speaker is Dr. Frances Owen. The Faculty of Science at Brandon University invites applications for a one-year term position in the Department of Psychology at the rank of Assistant Professor. Responsibilities: The successful applicant will teach courses in Adolescent Psychology, Aging, and Introduction to Psychology. The applicant is also expected to engage in scholarly activity. Qualifications: A doctorate degree in Psychology with specialization in developmental psychology. Psychology Position Available, 33 Canadian Forces Health Services Centre, Canadian Forces Base, 26 Somme Avenue, Kingston, ON. Part-Time (18.75 hours per week). We are seeking an experienced clinical psychologist to join our mental health team, starting in May, 2014. We offer primary care, and diagnostic and therapeutic services to Canadian Forces members. The mental health team includes social work, addictions counselling, psychology, mental health nursing and psychiatry. These specialist services provide assessment and treatment of service members suffering from a broad range of mental health issues such as Depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Anxiety, Addictions, etc. Members must be referred by a primary care clinician to access all services other than social work and addictions counselling. The Department of Psychology at the University of Lethbridge
invites applications for two probationary (tenure-track) positions at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin July 1, 2014 subject to budgetary approval. Candidates will have a Ph.D. and will be expected to develop a strong, externally funded research programme that will include opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students. Consideration of completed applications will begin April 15, 2014 but will continue behond that date as applications are received and until the positions are filled.
