NEW ELECTRONICS RECYCLING FEE (Davin Carlson)

DEVELOPING FIRST YEAR SAMPLER COURSES - FEED BACK REQUESTED
At the last Committee of Departments meeting, a number of Heads raised the idea of collaborating on a course that might integrate the interests of a number of departments and also serve the interests of a wide range of students across the Faculty. FUME HOOD/FAN SHUTDOWN
The fume hoods and supply/exhaust fans in Humphrey Hall & Craine Buildings have been scheduled for a shutdown from Monday, April 27th until Friday, May 1st, to perform annual preventative maintenance on building equipment. NSERC MAJOR RESOURCES SUPPORT PROGRAM
For first time applicants the Letter of intent (Form 181) is May 1, 2009. For resources that had an unsuccessful application or were awarded one-year grants in the 2009 competition, the deadline has been extended to June 1, 2009. Please note that starting from this competition, the MRS program will only provide support to unique national or international resources located in Canada and that serve national user communities. Full applications that are submitted without first submitting a Form 181 will not be considered.
