Psychosocial aspects of health care experiences in women with vulvovaginal pain: Patient and physician perspectives.

The Ontario Confederation of University Faculty Associations (OCUFA) is pleased to call for applications for the 2014 Henry Mandelbaum Graduate Fellowship. Established in 2011 by the Ontario Confederation of University Faculty Associations to honour their retired Executive Director, the fellowship is awarded to a full-time graduate student at a publicly-assisted Ontario University who has demonstrated academic excellence, shows exceptional academic promise, and has provided significant community service in his/her university career. Financial needs of students may be a selection factor. The successful candidate will be expected to produce and deliver a paper within one year of receiving the award to the OCUFA Board on a topic related to or resulting from his/her thesis or dissertation research. Amount: $5,000.00. Deadline for applications: April 4, 2014. Applications are sent directly to OCUFA by mail. Mackenzie King Scholarship Competition for 2014-2015 DEADLINE
TO SGS, QUEEN'S UNIVERSITY: Monday, February 3, 2014. Applications for the Mackenzie King Open and Travelling Scholarships are now available to download at the following website: Applicants must submit their application directly to the School of Graduate Studies and Research at the Canadian university from which they most recently graduated or where they are currently enrolled. Students may apply for both scholarships with a single application if the eligibility criteria are met for both.


Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Skills: Leading Collaborative and Effective Therapy Groups
February 6 & 7, 2014, Kingston, ON with Michela David, Ph.D., C. Psych. This course emphasizes CBT skills for effective groups, including: the benefits of group CBT; group selection, safety and set-up; tips for agenda and goal setting; using Socratic dialogue and other methods to enhance the group process; using common CBT tools in a group; capturing client strengths and resilience; and common therapist errors in CBT group settings.  For brochure and registration form please visit
