The Graduate Dean's Travel Grants for Doctoral Field Research are available to contribute to the support of field research that is central to the doctoral dissertation and that must be carried out at a considerable distance from Queen's University. Applications to attend conferences, workshops or courses will not be supported under this program. The maximum single award is $3000 and the maximum that a student may receive during the doctoral program is $3000. Students must complete their Comprehensive Examination requirement before taking up the Graduate Dean's Doctoral Field Travel Award. If this is applicable to you, please see complete information and application attached. Applications are due in Graduate Office (H227) by January 18, 2010.
SCHOLARS' EXCHANGE PROGRAM
China-Canada Scholars' Exchange Program (CCSEP) for 2010-11. Under the auspices of the CCSEP, with the China Scholarship Councilacting as the executive agency, and in partnership with Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada (DFAIT), a number of awards are offered to Canadian academics and students who wish to study and/or do research in subject areas related to China in a select list of Chinese institutions. The following groups are eligible to apply: Faculty members, students enrolled in graduate programs and holders of Bachelor's degrees. Complete program information, as well as the application form and list of Chinese institutions admitting international students under the CCSEP, may be found on the website of the Education Office of the Chinese Embassy in Canada:
