EPILEPSY CANADA: CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS - POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH AWARD AND SUMMER STUDENTSHIP
Epilepsy Canada is pleased to announce that it is again accepting submissions to support research trainees in any area of research pertaining to epilepsy. Epilepsy Canada's mission is to support research (in the biomedical, clinical or social sciences) that is focused on improving the lives of people with seizure disorders. In particular, they are seeking to fund post-doctoral researchers and summer studentships associated with a Canadian university or hospital (research activities must be conducted within Canada). 2012 ALUMNI AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN TEACHING - CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
This award is given annually to a Queen's professor who, in the view of his/her students and colleagues, demonstrates superior abilities as a teacher and commitment to effective learning. Monthly Paid Employees: The cut-off date for changes to regular monthly payroll, including salary requisitions for monthly paid employees, is Friday, February 9, 2012. Please check with HR if you are unsure if an employee is paid Monthly or Bi-weekly.
Casual Paid Employees: Paid Period Date of: February 18, 2012 (Pay date of Mar/02/12). Salary requisitions must be processed and approved by Friday, Feb 16/2012.
Bi-Weekly Paid Employees: Pay Period End Date of: February 25, 2012 (Pay date of Mar/02/12). Salary requisitions and time-cards must be processed and approved by Friday, Feb 16/2012.

The Department of Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour at McMaster University invites applications for a contractually limited position at the Assistant Professor level, to begin by July 1, 2012. The appointment, which is initially for a 3-year term, is to teach developmental psychology as well as courses in such areas as social, abnormal, educational and aging psychology.
