THE 4TH ANNUAL UNIVERSITY OF OTTAWA INSTITUTE OF MENTAL HEALTH RESEARCH.
Young Researchers' Conference:Collaborations for Change on Friday March 23rd, 2012. This one-day conference, also featuring oral and poster presentations, is aimed at young researchers in neuroscience, psychology, psychiatry, sociology, and other fields affiliated with mental health and well-being. 5TH FPR-UCLA INTERDISCIPLINARY CONFERENCE. 
Culture, Mind and Brain: Emerging Concepts, Methods, Applications.  October 19-20, 2012.The conference is designed to appeal to a wide academic audience of biologists, neuroscientists, psychologists, anthropologists, sociologists, epidemiologists, and those in related fields interested in learning about cutting-edge interdisciplinary research at the intersection of culture, mind and brain.   For further information, please click here.

QUEEN'S UNIVERSITY THE FIFTEENTH ANNUAL MEETING FOR HEALTH SCIENCES RESEARCH TRAINEES is set for Thursday, May 31, 2012 in the Biosciences atrium.  Individuals interested in presenting should submit their abstract(s) according to the instructions outlined in the form. EPILEPSY CANADA:  CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS - POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH AWARD AND SUMMER STUDENTSHIP
Epilepsy Canada is pleased to announce that it is again accepting submissions to support research trainees in any area of research pertaining to epilepsy. Epilepsy Canada's mission is to support research (in the biomedical, clinical or social sciences) that is focused on improving the lives of people with seizure disorders. In particular, they are seeking to fund post-doctoral researchers and summer studentships associated with a Canadian university or hospital (research activities must be conducted within Canada). ASSOCIATED MEDICAL SERVICES ANNOUNCES THE AMS PHOENIX FELLOWSHIPS (2012/13)
Applications are now being accepted for the new AMS Phoenix Fellowships.  These prestigious awards will be targeted to individuals with new and imaginative ideas for innovative clinical practice, education or research.  The application is open to individuals affiliated with any one of the Faculties/Schools of Medicine or Faculties/Schools of Nursing in Ontario.  For more information, click here.

The Department of Psychology at Queen's University
invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for three Teaching Fellow positions for the summer term 2012: PSYC 100/6.0 - Principles of Psychology, PSYC 2413.0 - Social Psychology & PSYC 251/3.0 - Developmental Psychology. McMaster University - Contractually Limited Appointment in Department of Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour.
The Department of Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour at McMaster University invites applications for a  contractually limited position at the Assistant Professor level, to begin by July 1, 2012.  The appointment, which is initially for a 3-year term, is to teach developmental psychology as well as courses in such areas as social, abnormal, educational and aging psychology.  Candidates should have a Ph.D.  in Psychology.
