    PSYC100 PUBLISHER'S DEMO
    As part of the PSYC 100 redesign process we have asked the publishers of the 4 highest level PSYC 100 texts to come to campus and demonstrate their online materials.  The next demonstration is scheduled for THURSDAY, January 28th from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Humphrey 228 (Conference Room).

    DSC FREE LUNCH
    The DSC will be holding a free pizza lunch in the Craine lounge on WEDNESDAY, January 27th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  The invitation extends to students, professors and graduate students.  DSC are doing this in an effort to give students a chance to talk with professors and graduate students in a casual setting and it would be greatly appreciated if you could find the time to stop by.     VISITING PROFESSORSHIP - ACADEMIC YEAR 2011-12
    Visiting Professorship of Canadian Studies at Kwansei Gakuin University (KGU) in Japan for the academic year 2011-12. The position can be filled either as one of two shorter appointments (September 2011 to January 2012 ; April 2012  to July 2012), or one 11-month appointment (September 2011 to July 2012).     NAOMI GRIGG FELLOWSHIP
    Naomi Grigg Fellowship for Post-Graduate Studies in Gerontology 2010 presented by Soroptimist International of Toronto.  This Fellowship is open to Canadian citizens or landed immigrants.  Application deadline is March 31, 2010.  For application forms and information please go to: http://www.ecsoroptimist.org/membership.html.  Further details attached.

    QUEEN'S NATIONAL STUDENT CONFERENCE
    Queen's University is proud to host the annual National Student Conference of the Canadian Society for Epidemiology and Biostatistics on May 27-28, 2010. The Scientific Program Committee invites abstracts fo oral and poster presentations related to Epidemiology and Biostatistics.  Attached is the call for abstracts and an abstract submission template.     WORKSHOPS
    QUANTITATIVE METHODOLOGY WORKSHOPS
    The University of Kansas is pleased to announce an expanded set of 5-day workshops on quantitative methodology, to take place June 7 - 25, 2010 in Lawrence, Kansas. These courses are affordable, taught by award winning faculty, and provide participants with continued access to a wealth of support materials at www.Quant.KU.edu.     JOBS AVAILABLE
    The Department of Psychology at Bishop's University in Sherbrooke, Quebec invites applications for a tenure-track position in Applied Psychology.  Applications will be reviewed starting 1 March 2010 and will be accepted until the position is filled.  Please see attached for further details.

    The University of Prince Edward Island is inviting applications for a ten-month position in Social and/or Developmental Psychology at the Assistant Professor level beginning August 15, 2010.  Details attached.
