MESSAGE FROM THE OFFICE OF RESEARCH SERVICES
Recent departures from the Office of Research and the new contact individuals, or new members of the ORS team.
- Laurie Vaugh-Evans, Contracts Manager - will be leaving the Office of Research Services and Queen's. As of July 14th, please direct all new contract inquiries and documentation to: Diana Purvis.
- Edward Thomas, Major Projects Coordinator Natural Sciences and Engineering - Edward recently joined the Industry Partnerships unit within the VP Research portfolio as Assistant Director leaving his role as Major Projects Coordinator in Natural Sciences and Engineering in ORS. Ed has made significant contributions to the research enterprise at Queen's during his time at ORS. Enabler, coach, advisor, and "go-to" person are only a few of the many words that describe his abilities and passion to assist the Queen's community in fulfilling their research development and funding goals.
- Nancy Churchman will be joining ORS on Monday, July 16 as the Research Projects Advisor to resume the ORS services provided by Edward Thomas to the research community.

The Department of Psychology at the University of Waterloo invites applications for instructors to teach a second-year survey course on Abnormal Psychology this coming fall term (Fall 2012). A suggested course syllabus and partial course materials are available for the course. The successful applicant ordinarily will have a Ph.D. in Psychology. Please send CV to Maureen Stafford by email
Ryerson University, Department of Psychology -is accepting applications for a Research Operations Coordinator. Please see the attached posting here. If you qualify, please consider applying. The review of applications will begin on July 27, 2012, and will continue until the position is filled.
University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) - invites applications for a tenure-stream position in the area of Health, Adaptation, and Well-Being. This appointment will be rank of Assistant Professor and will begin July 1, 2013. For more information, please visit the website here.
University of New Brunswick- invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor commencing July 1, 2013. The position is for an individual in any area of psychology who can teach statistics, including multivariate statistics, at the graduate level. Individuals in Aging, Addictions, Forensic Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Applied Learning, or Performance and Motivation are especially encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D.in Psychology (or near completion). Interested applicants should send a curriculum vitae, recent reprints or preprints, a statement of research interests, and a statement demonstrating teaching excellence or potential, and arrange to have three letters of reference sent to: Dr. Sandra Byers via email.
