Dr. John Berry, Emeritus Professor of Psychology at Queen's University, has been presented with the 2012 CPA Award for Distinguished Contributions to the International Advancement of Psychology. Within Canada, Dr. Barry played a critical role in the founding of the CPA Section on International and Cross-cultural Psychology, and internationally, he was instrumental in the founding of the International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology and the International Academy for intercultural Research. He is a highly visible scholar who has given invited scholarly addresses around the globe, including in Sri Lanka, China, Estonia, India, Germany, Russia, Japan, France, Argentina, Greece, and New Zealand.
