FORMER QUEEN'S POST-DOCTORAL FELLOW WINS PRESTIGIOUS ERIE KANDEL PRIZE At a recent ceremony held in Paulskirche Frankfurt Prof. Dr. Henrik Mouritsen was awarded the prestigious Eric Kandel Prize for the best young European Neuroscientist under 40. Dr. Mouritsen spent three years at Queens (1999-2002) working with Dr. Barrie Frost. The complete

OFFICE OF RESEARCH SERVICES - TRANSITION FROM CHRPP TO CORE On June 15th, Queen's University moved seamlessly from the ethics education program called Course on Human Research Participant Protection (CHRPP) to the Course on Research Ethics (CORE). The CORE program is an on-line interaction program with eight modules that can be completed in about 4 hours. Users must register using their
