Call for Abstracts - Sixteenth Annual Meeting for Health Sciences Research Trainees - is set for Wednesday, June 5, 2013 in the Biosciences Atrium.  This all-day meeting has been organized in order to provide a forum for graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, research project students, medical students, and clinical residents of the Faculty of Health Sciences and related Schools/Faculties at Queen's University to discuss their recent research findings.  Deadline for Abstract Submission:  Monday, April 29, 2013.  For more information, abstract form and registration/payment form, click here.

Department of Psychology Distinguished Speaker - Lisa Diamond, University of Utah - Just How Different are Female and Male Sexual Orientation? Dr. Diamond is Professor of Psychology and Gender Studies at the University of Utah.  Dr. Diamond studies development and expression of sexual desire, behavior, and identity over the lifespan.  For abstract click here.

Queen's School of Business Innovation Summit - March 1st and 2nd, 2013 -

The University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, Department of Psychology -
invites applications for a 3-year appointment at the Assistant Professorship level or below commencing July 1, 2013 (or earlier if possible).  The position is for an individual with a Ph.D. (or near completion) in Clinical Psychology with a strong background in Applied Behaviour Analysis or a Ph.D. in Applied Behaviour Analysis with a strong background in psychology.  Experience in the areas of Autism spectrum disorder, developmental disorders and/or interventions for behavioural disorders and/or BCBA certification (or eligibility) would be an asset.  Review of applications will start immediately and will continue until the position is filled.  For more information click here.

The University of Vermont
, Clinical Neuropsychology Post-Doctoral Fellowship. Algoma University, Sabbatical Replacement Position.  Algoma University is advertising a 9-month contract-limited appointment at the entry-level, beginning August 1, 2013. The successful candidate must have a completed PhD, and a demonstrated commitment to research and undergraduate teaching.  The area of specialization for this position is open, though preference will be given to candidates with expertise in Clinical and Counseling Psychology.  For more information click here.
