CONGRATULATIONS! (Jill Atkinson/Allison Horwood) to the five 2012 NSERC USRA recipients:

Samantha Drover (M. Sabbagh), Jenalee Dymond (K. Munhall), Deanna Choi (H. Dringenberg), Elysia Mechefske (R. Beninger) and Woo Sik Yoon (D. Wilson). The overall quality of applications was extremely high and these students displayed an exceptionally strong performance.

2012 SWAP Award:
The Section on Women and Psychology (SWAP) will offer a $500.00 student paper award this year. To be eligible the paper must have been submitted to the 2012 Annual Convention of the Canadian Psychological Association or SWAP-sponsored Institute. And $200 travel bursaries to students in psychology (and those individuals who have recently graduated) who are presenting at the 2012 Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) Annual Convention or at the SWAP pre-conference institute. CALL FOR PAPERS - 34th Annual ISPA Conference, to be held at McGill University, Montreal, Canada, July 9th to July 12th. The theme of this year's conference is Helping the World's Children Realize their Dreams. Both practitioners and scholars are encouraged to submit papers, posters, symposia, or workshops to the Scientific Committee via the conference website http://www.ispaconference.info/.
