CAROLYN'S RETIREMENT PARTY

NEW INTERNATIONAL VISITORS' WEBSITE
A new resource website has been launched for Queen's faculty and staff who invite international academic visitors to campus. Note the site is housed in the "Queen's International" subsection of the Queen's site, under the tab "Faculty Visitors".  To view website please go to http://www.queensu.ca/international/faculty/ . Immigration regulations and their implications for visiting academics are not only complex, but also subject to change. OFFICE OF RESEARCH SERVICES- Queen's U Research Participant Recruitment Service.
The Office of Research Services would like to hear from faculty members about their interest in a Queen's-based community participant recruitment service.  This would not conflict with any existing subject pools and is intended as a service to Queen's researchers. To this end they are surveying Queen's researchers about their participant recruitment practices now.  The survey should take about 10 minutes to complete. CIHR FREE PUBLIC EVENT
One Size Doesn't Fit All: Primary Care Access for Vulnerable Populations. Panel discussion co-hosted by CIHR's Institute of Gender and Health and CIHR's Institute of Health Services and Policy Research. Wednesday, May 27, 2009.  Doors open at 5:00 p.m. Rowell Room, Flavelle House, 78 Queen's Park, University of Toronto Faculty of Law, Toronto. 8th ANNUAL PSYCHOLOGY GOLF TOURNAMENT
Friday, June 19 at the Westbrook Golf Club  (noon) - 9 or 18 holes.
