ODOUR FROM OLD MEDICAL BUILDING(Candace Hartley)
Next week PPS will be re-doing the roof of the Old Medical Building to the West of us, which, depending on the winds may send an odour in our direction. I have been assured that there are no health concerns to worry about, though the sent may cause some discomfort for those, like myself who are especially sensitive.

ALTERATIONS ON THE GROUND FLOOR OF HUMPHREY HALL (Candace Hartley)
Over the next couple of days, PPS will be carrying out some work on the ground floor of Humphrey Hall. It is crucial that this work is completed ASAP; if it causes any disruption to you please let me know.

QUSAR INFORMATION UPDATE
Queen's Adopts New Credit Weighting and Course Grading:
The implementation of a new student administrative system provides the opportunity for the University to review its policies and practices with respect to every aspect of student academic administration. The Senate Committee on Academic Procedures has reviewed transcript practices in institutions across Canada, the U.S. and Europe and recommended that Queen's adopt a consistent course weighting system (where .5 credit courses normally translate to 3.0 credit units and 1.0 credit courses translate to 6.0 credit units) and a consistent letter grading system with a standard GPA.
