The Alzheimer Society of KFL&A is hosting their annual conference this year on Thursday, November 7th, 2013. The topic of the conference is "Let's Talk About Dementia" and will be held at The Olympic Harbour Restaurant in Kingston, Ontario. The goal of the conference is to facilitate and encourage conversation about the various different forms of dementia and to awareness to these diseases. They would like to extend an invitation to students to attend the conference. There is a reduced ticket price for students available. 2nd Annual Pelvic Health Symposium - Taking a Biopsychosocial Approach to the treatment of Abdomino-Pelvic Pain

Pain Science and Pain Education, Supporting Innovations in Clinical Practice
is a course taking place in Toronto on January 19, 2014, 8:00am-4:00pm. The instructor is Neil Pearson, a physiotherapist, Clinical Assistant Professor at UBC, and a yoga therapist.  He teaches pain science and pain-care across Canada and internationally, to health care professionals, yoga teachers, and people in pain. The Department of Psychology of  McGill University seeks applicants for a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor in Clinical Psychology with an anticipated starting date of Sept. 1, 2014.  An ideal candidate will be conducting research in a major area of psychopathology.
