Student Life Network
in collaboration with CIBC is currently offering a $20,000 award to help a current Canadian student pay for school. The award is not merit based and is open to all students. In addition to the $20,000 for school it contains a whole host of other awards that make a student's life easier. Students can register to win the scholarship here:

The University of California, Riverside is seeking to hire a new faculty member in the area of Developmental Psychology. Area of specialization is open, but they are especially interested in candidates that can contribute to current strengths in culture, context, and biological/familial contributions to cognitive or social development. California State University; Northridge has a faculty position open for the rank of Assistant Professor. They are interested in individuals who have a strong educational and research background in clinical psychology and subspecialty training in neuropsychology or biopsychology as applied to human populations. The Soroptimist Foundation of Canada annually offers several $7,500 grants to female graduate students in Canada with financial needs to complete their studies.  The aim is to assist women with financial needs to complete their studies leading to careers that will improve the quality of women’s lives. Ryerson University, Department of Psychology has openings for two sessional instructors to teach sections of their undergraduate course on the Psychology of Addictions (PSYC215) during the Winter 2014 term. For more information click here.

The University of Calgary, Department of Psychology invites applications for a tenure-track Tier II Canada Research Chair in the Determinants of Healthy Development. The successful applicant will be expected to establish a successful and externally funded program of research in healthy development. Excellent candidates with active research programs in any area of healthy development will be considered. The position involves teaching, research, and supervision of graduate students.
