QUEEN'S  MENTAL HEALTH COMMISSION LAUNCHES WEBSITE. The Principal's Commission on Mental Health at Queen's has launched a website designed to keep the community informed about it's activities and encourage participation across the campus.

PURSUIT AWARD: Improbing the Lives of Kids with Disabilities.  
The Bloorview Research Institute offers this award, The Pursuit Award, which will recognize Ph.D. students for their outstanding achievements in childhood disability research. For more information on this award click here.

FULBRIGHT CANADA INFORMATION SESSION AT QUEEN'S : MONDAY, OCTOBER, 31, 2011.  Opportunities to study, research or lecture in the United States. Ms. Michelle Edmond, will be providing an information session about the Fulbright Canada opportunities for post-doctoral researchers, on Monday, October 31, 2011, 2:30 - 4:00pm in Room 201, Kingston Hall.   There will be another information session to inform 4th year students, Master's students, and PhD students on Monday, October 31, 2011, 5:30 - 7:00pm in Room 201, Kingston Hall. RSIG CALL FOR PAPERS. The Ontario Association on Developmental Disabilities (OADD) Research Special Interest Group (RSIG) is inviting proposals for presentations and posters for its annual research conference to be held Thursday, April 19th, 2012 at the Ambassador Conference Resort, in Kingston, Ontario.  For more information about RSIG and OADD, click here.

JAPAN-CANADA ACADEMIC CONSORTIUM FORUM. Apply now for a chance to participate in the 3rd annual Japan Canada Academic Consortium Student Forum, to be held in Kyoto, Japan. The theme of this year's forum is "Cooperation and Mutual Understanding between Canada and Japan in Post-Disaster Era".  with sub-topics including "Tourism in Canada, Japan, and the Global Society" and "Intercultural Learning for Successful International Cooperation".  For more information click here.

  China-Canada Scholars' Exchange Program (CCSEP) for 2012-13.The Chinese Embassy in Canada is calling for applications for the China-Canada Scholars' Exchange program for the academic year 2012-13.  Scholarships are offered to Canadian citizens pursuing studies/research at the Master's or PhD level in subject areas related to China.  Complete program information can be found here.

The Irving K. Barber School of Arts and Sciences at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan Campus, invites applications for a professional appointment (Clinical Psychology) at the rank of Assistant Professor or, in the exceptional case, an Associate Professor to begin with a possible start date of July 1st, 2012. The University of Waterloo, Clinical Psychology Program.Applications are being accepted for the position of Tenure-track Assistant Professor in the CPA and APA accredited Clinical Psychology program.
