Research Interests

  • Our lab is focused on examining models of Self-Regulation in regard to appraisals and coping in patients suffering from Visceral Pain.

  • Our research examines Pain and its associated disability, relationship distress, and emotional distress.

  • Our major patient samples include those suffering from Chronic Prostatitis Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome, Interstitial Cystitis / Bladder Pain Syndrome, and Irritable Bowel Disease.
