The Annual PAIN DAY

Over the past 10 years here in Kingston I have planned and completed an Annual Pain Education Day for healthcare professionals in our academic, hospital, and surrounding clinic areas. We have been very successful in having spread the word about pain and its treatment over these years. Previous events have included some pretty high profile pain people from within Canada and our region. It has been very rewarding and exciting. My students have been involved with various planning and staging aspects of the event and have contributed lectures or posters as appropriate. This event has enrolled more than 500 learners/attendees during it's ten-year run.
