Are some of us better "rememberers" than others, or do we merely excel at different types of memory? Also, what happens to us, and to our memories, when we do remember? Recent research suggests we are changed by memories we bring to mind.

Our lab relies on computational analysis of behaviour (responses and eyetracking), neuroanatomy (ultra-high resolution MRI), and brain activity (EEG and fMRI) to address these and related questions about memory, focusing on both the detailed operation of the hippocampus and whole-brain coding of information.

We operate out of Queen's University in the historic town of Kingston, Canada.
