Child and Adolescent Therapy Service

Supervising Psychologist: Dr. Susan Meyers

Members of the team include graduate level Clinical Psychology Students from the Department of Psychology at Queen's University.

The members of the Child Therapy Service treat children up to age 18 and their families with a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, externalizing behaviours, ADHD, school refusal, and family conflict. We typically do not accept cases that involve court proceedings.

Clients can be self-referred or referred from a health professional.

Cost is determined by income level, and as such, is on a sliding scale from $20 per session to $150 per session. Extenuating circumstances can be considered in some cases if the fees cannot be paid. We typically adhere to a maximum of 16 sessions for most cases.

Wait time is variable. Currently, it is several weeks. Note that services are not offered from mid-June to end of August.

Please contact Stacey Burns at 613-533-6021 for more information or to set up an appointment.
