Yamaha Music Education Instructor

 

Pianist Katherine Chu began her musical studies at the age of 4. Having won several performance awards in piano and voice as a child, she has pursued her interests at the post-secondary level and is currently in her 3rd year in the Bachelor of Music piano program at Queen's University. Katherine is also an accomplished bassist and singer, and participates in several campus organizations such as the Queen's Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble and Choral Ensemble. She is an active chamber music pianist and accompanist, and has been a youth group leader for many organizations throughout her high school and university years. Katherine became a certified Yamaha Music Education instructor in 2012, and is excited to join the QCM teaching staff.
