Saki Uchida -
Yamaha Junior Music Course 1 & 2
Saki Uchida is currently completing her Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Education degrees at Queen's University. As the second place winner in the Queen's School of Music Concerto/Aria competition in February 2010, she will perform as piano soloist with the Queen's Symphony Orchestra this coming Fall. Saki has been playing the piano since the age of 4, and has enjoyed learning other instruments such as violin, oboe, guitar and clarinet as well. She has taught private lessons in her home for the past three years, and is fluent in English and Japanese. Saki has experience working with children in day cares, summer camp settings and as a student teacher, and aspires to be an elementary school teacher.
