Sherry Boyd- Piano
Canadian born, Sherry Boyd began her musical studies at the age of seven. Boyd earned her A.R.C.T. (Associate of The Royal Conservatory of Music), in Piano Teaching in 2010, as a student of Jennifer Knelman, Martha Hill Duncan and Daryl Irvine. While a student at the Knelman School of Music in Brampton, Ontario in 1989 she started her pedagogical career teaching before relocating to Kingston in 1998. Since coming to Kingston, Boyd continues an active teaching schedule, instructing piano to students of all ages and levels. She currently teaches music theory including basic, intermediate and advanced rudiments and history individually to students through her private studio. Boyd is an active member of ORMTA (Ontario Registered Music Teacher Association), teaches the Suzuki method and is a Piano Instructor at the Queen’s Conservatory of Music.
